Just now, I realized that this is actually my 20th song!!

Long answer: I'm not sure, but I'm definitely still making *some* music. I've recently posting music on my soundcloud account, in a much less organized way - the songs I've been posting there are often upwards of 12 minutes long and are a lot less bound to me trying to make them as good as possible -> https://soundcloud.com/niko-abyss

The reason I stopped posting songs here is because my standards for song quality have gone up a lot higher than my music making skills have, alongside the risk of failure looming in my mind. So, to answer the question: I'll return as soon as I feel I'm good enough :)

Anyways, if you're wondering why I stopped doing the Jamuary 2023 thing, 1. I realized that it's kind of ridiculous to pump out a 2 minute song every day and, 2. I was at my Grandma's and couldn't do it for one day, lol

some kid went and negatively reviewed every single one of my songs, bringing their scores down a ton :( they used to all be 4 stars +

I don't have a song for you right now, though I'm working on one at the moment - it has a lively chord progression, is what I will say. Instead, I am now raking every song I posted here so let's get into itttttt

6. Hat in the Snow - This song is boring. Nothing else to say. Note that it uses a melody also featured in 'LAGOMORPHA'.

5. Gravity Flip - Not too bad. The piano and progression are very lively, and some sections give me MK8 vibes, but other than that there isn't much to it.

4. Inference - Now we're getting somewhere. Not too far above mediocre, however.

3. DANCE DANCE SIMULATION - A remix of an existing song. Really good, but I moved it down a spot because of that.

2. The cat in question: - For some reason, this is my most popular song. It's filler. It's 30 seconds long and it's only purpose is to fill the lack of songs at the time. Apparently, it's good? So I put it in second.

1. LAGOMORPHA - Probably the only song that I made that I would consider 'good'. It's pretty short, but from feedback people have said that it sounds professional, so that's good ig
